OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD UPDATE!!
Thank God for each of you!
We had our Prep Event on Wednesday, November 19th from 5:45-7:45 PM. We had pizza and spent a few hours getting ready for the Packing Party. The effort continued over the next few days, with people putting the finishing touches on the line.
This year our Packing Party was held on Sunday, November 23 at 10:30 AM. We thank God for people from our church and the community who staffed tables, set up and tore down the packing lines and prayed over boxes. We were looking to pack 400 boxes. We were able to pack 515 boxes, by the grace of God. While some people stayed to clean up and organize, a group of people and vehicles made the trip to Marston Mills where the boxes were packed into shipping cartons and loaded onto a semi-trailer. Once again we prayed over the boxes and prayed for those who helped in this part of the journey to share the love of God through Jesus!
Under-privileged children around the world will now have the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ in their own language as well as enjoy the Christmas blessings we packed inside those gift boxes! This accomplishment would not have been possible without the generous support of our local friends, neighbors, businesses and people like you!

Since 1993, individuals, businesses, schools and churches around the world have cooperated to collect, fill and transport more than 198 million gift-filled shoe boxes to needy children in over 170 countries and territories around the world through the Christian relief program — Operation Christmas Child. Each box is filled with items the children need, such as soap and a washcloth, as well as toys and the message of God’s love and His greatest gift, His Son Jesus Christ. These boxes will be delivered to children suffering from poverty, war, disease, and natural disasters – many of whom have never received a gift before.
