Since 1993, individuals, businesses, schools and churches around the world have cooperated to collect, fill and transport more than 198 million gift-filled shoe boxes to needy children in over 170 countries and territories around the world through the Christian relief program — Operation Christmas Child. Each box is filled with items the children need, such as soap and a washcloth, as well as toys and the message of God’s love and His greatest gift, His Son Jesus Christ. These boxes will be delivered to children suffering from poverty, war, disease, and natural disasters – many of whom have never received a gift before.
Our prep night is Wednesday, November 15. We will have dinner at 5:45 pm, then begin setting up the tables and boxes we need for our packing party on Sunday.
Our Packing Party on November 19 at 11 AM will have the supplies and gifts you need to pack multiple boxes. This is a wonderful event for all ages.
