Nancy Maclone of East Falmouth died on August 6. She was 71 years old.
Born in Hartford, CT, to Robert and Shirley (Knowlen) Bridges, she graduated fromAlgonquin High School and went on to earn an associates degree in businessadministration from Bryant and Stratton Junior College.
She married Richard R. Maclone Jr. and moved to East Falmouth in 1973 and they lived onCape Cod ever since. She and her husband founded Maclone Studio of Photography in EastFalmouth where she served as the lead artist and office manager for over 40 years.
Mrs. Maclone enjoyed working with her hands and was an accomplished seamstress andartist. In her free time she designed and created works for her friends and family. She enjoyedtraveling across the country with her husband, to winter in the Florida Keys, and to visit lovedones. She also spent an abundance of her free time enjoying her grandchildren’s athleticevents and dance competitions.
She leaves behind her husband of 51 years, and her children, Richard III and his wife Lyra,Daniel and his wife Jennifer, and her four grandchildren, Richard IV, Leanna, Brenner and Easton.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her younger sister Joanne. She leavesbehind her sisters Sandra, Donna and Kelly and brother Robert.A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouthstarting at 9 AM with a Celebration of life Nancy’s life taking place at 11 AM. Burial to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 167 EFalmouth Hwy, East Falmouth
