Marlene Davidson Obituary

Marlene F. Davidson (DeCoste) entered into Eternal Life with her Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven at home surrounded by the people who loved her most on February 28, 2025. Marlene was born on January 2, 1941 to Francis and Louise DeCoste in Boston, Massachusetts. She met the love of her life, Kenny, at 18 years old, and they were married on January 28, 1961. They spent 61 years together until Kenny went home to be with Jesus on June 4, 2022.

Marlene was a committed follower of Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, and friend. She delighted in spending time with her family. Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Kenny, brothers Jackie and Donald, sister Ruthie, and her Uncle Warren and Aunt Phyllis who raised her.

Marlene is survived by her six children: Warren (wife Diane), Kathy (husband Bill), Christine, Tracy (husband Travis), Robert (wife Mary Beth), and Louise (husband David). She is survived by her eleven grandchildren: Billy (wife Juliet), Victoria (fiancé Michael), Sara, John, Alissa, Peyton, Chase, Caroline, Elizabeth, Davidson, and Colt. She is also survived by her sisters Carol and Marylou, brother Robert, brothers-in-law Ralph and Bobby, sisters-in-law Mary and Louise, and many nieces and nephews.

Marlene left a legacy to her family of God’s amazing love and grace and was an example to all who knew her. We look forward to the day we will be reunited with her and Kenny in heaven.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Falmouth Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marlene’s name can be made to the Falmouth Baptist Church.
